About the Role:

Maintaining a good working relationship with all staff members is crucial for success in this position. As an MRI Technologist PRN at Rapides Regional Medical Center, you will be responsible for demonstrating flexibility in your work schedule, taking initiative, and being punctual and dependable. You will also be expected to observe universal precautions and other health and safety rules of the department, as well as participate in continuing education essential to the field and for the betterment of the patient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a good working relationship with all staff members.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule as required.
  • Demonstrates initiative and takes ownership of tasks.
  • Responsible for completing assigned tasks and duties.
  • Punctual and dependable, with a strong commitment to being on time.
  • Observes universal precautions and other health and safety rules of the department.
  • Participates in continuing education essential to the field and for the betterment of the patient.
  • Demonstrates good patient care skills and communicates effectively with patients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • State Registered Radiologic Technician.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR for Healthcare Providers, must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
