Safety Manager--Construction

Stacy and Witbeck Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our team in the Mid-Atlantic region. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive safety program that ensures a safe working environment for our employees and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Provide training and guidance to employees and subcontractors on safety protocols
- Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions
- Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the project
Requirements:
- 10+ years of safety experience with 5+ years in management
- 10+ years of heavy civil experience
- OSHA 500 certification
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field
- Rail or airport experience
- Exposure to structures, mass excavation, blasting, and other hazardous conditions
