Senior Enterprise Network Architect

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Enterprise Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing network architectures for enterprise-scale environments, with expertise in routing protocols, advanced switching, data center and cloud networking, and network security.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level routing and switching solutions to meet client requirements.
- Design, architect, troubleshoot, and implement scalable networks, considering fault tolerance, redundancy, and performance optimization.
- Configure and optimize routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP to ensure efficient traffic routing and network convergence.
- Implement switching technologies such as VLANs, VTP, EtherChannel, and Spanning Tree Protocols (STP).
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize firewall policies, including application-based rules, URL filtering, and threat prevention.
- Troubleshoot complex network and security issues, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
- Consult with clients to operate and optimize network and network security.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures documents. Coach and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in designing and implementing network architectures for enterprise-scale environments.
- Proficiency in network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VTP, MPLS, VPNs)
- Experience in data center networking (Nexus), Cisco UCS, and network security (ASA, firewalls). Any experience or exposure to storage environments is a plus (e.g., Pure Storage) -- however, is not required.
- Excellent communication skills and teaming skills.
- Hybrid role with one or two days per week onsite
- Preferred certifications: CCNP or CCIE.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
