About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our network engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level network infrastructures for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy enterprise-level routing and switching solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Design, architect, troubleshoot, and implement scalable networks considering fault tolerance, redundancy, and performance optimization.
  • Configure and optimize routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP) to ensure efficient traffic routing and network convergence.
  • Implement advanced switching technologies (VLANs, VTP, EtherChannel, and Spanning Tree Protocols/STP).
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize firewall policies, including application-based rules, URL filtering, and threat prevention.
  • Troubleshoot complex network and security issues, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
  • Consult with clients to operate and optimize network and network security.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures documents. Coach and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' experience in designing and implementing network architectures for enterprise-scale environments and data center solutions (Nexus, UCS, VMware).
  • Experience in network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VTP, MPLS, VPNs).
  • Experience in network security, ASA, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Experience with AWS cloud networking, Palo Alto, and/or Pure Storage is a plus, but not required.
  • Good communication skills with client stakeholders and contacts.
  • Hybrid role with one or two days per week onsite in the Boston and Cambridge areas.
  • Preferred certifications: CCNP or CCIE.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
