We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is a contract position with the potential for long-term engagement. Below are the details of the position:

Job ID:

Compensation: $85 - $95/hour. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave, depending on the work location.

Key Responsibilities and Required Skills:

  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in all stages of the Data lifecycle: conception, design, development, implementation, modification, and operation.
  • Exceptional ability to translate business requirements into effective technical designs and solutions.
  • Extensive experience in identifying and rationalizing technical solutions.
  • Facilitate design and review sessions to define comprehensive solutions with a holistic perspective.
  • Understanding of architectural dependencies within complex technological environments.
  • Investigate how emerging technologies can address challenging business issues and document architecture decision records (ADRs).
  • Adept at thriving in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment; capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively, with a proven capacity to influence stakeholders.
  • Structured, organized, and traceable approach to work.
  • Commitment to integrity and trust, with a focus on ethical practices.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in designing and implementing Enterprise Data & Analytics Architectures.
  • Solid background in Data management, including:
    • Integration Services: Informatica Cloud, Airflow
    • Database/Data Warehouse: AWS RDS, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, SQL proficiency
    • Data modeling: SQLDBM
    • Big Data: Familiarity with distributed systems (Spark, Hadoop) is advantageous
    • Data Quality: Informatica CDQ
    • Master Data Management: Informatica MDM
    • Metadata management/Data Catalog: Informatica EDC
    • Data Mesh and domain-driven design
    • Data Governance
    • Data Security: Experience with compliance (e.g., quality, regulatory – data privacy, GxP, SOX) and cybersecurity standards is a plus
  • Experience with Agile development processes and DevOps principles:
    • Cloud services (AWS, Azure)
    • Infrastructure as code (Terraform)
    • GIT-based source code management (GitHub) and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices (GitHub Actions)
    • Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting
    • Knowledge of data storage technologies (object, structured, and unstructured)
    • Experience in automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
    • Familiarity with Data Science/cloud-based machine learning platforms (AWS Bedrock, AWS SageMaker, Snowflake Cortex, etc.) is a plus.
    • *A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required.
