Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Network Architect to join our team at MRINetwork Jobs. As a key member of our IT solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level network infrastructures for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy scalable and resilient network architectures to meet client requirements.
  • Implement routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP to ensure efficient traffic routing and network convergence.
  • Configure and optimize switching technologies such as VLANs, VTP, EtherChannel, and Spanning Tree Protocols (STP).
  • Implement network security measures, including firewall policies, URL filtering, and threat prevention.
  • Troubleshoot complex network and security issues, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
  • Consult with clients to operate and optimize network and network security.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures documents.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in designing and implementing network architectures for enterprise-scale environments.
  • Proficiency in network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VTP, MPLS, VPNs).
  • Experience in data center networking (Nexus), Cisco UCS, and network security (ASA, firewalls).
  • Excellent communication skills and teaming skills.
  • Hybrid role with one or two days per week onsite.
  • Preferred certifications: CCNP or CCIE.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
