Fiscal Specialist 2

South Puget Sound Community College is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Fiscal Specialist 2 to join our Athletics Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide fiscal support and guidance to our staff and programs, ensuring the efficient and effective management of our financial resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide fiscal support to Athletics staff and programs, including responding to inquiries, monitoring and reconciling financial transactions, and preparing financial reports.
- Develop and manage budgets for Athletics, including monitoring and reconciling expenditures, and preparing budget reports.
- Initiate and process financial transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
- Provide administrative support to the Director and Assistant Director of Athletics, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing correspondence.
- Collaborate with other college units, such as Purchasing and Facilities, to ensure accurate and timely procurement of materials and services.
- Two years of experience in a fiscal or financial role, with a focus on budgeting and financial management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced knowledge of financial software and systems, including MS Office and financial management software.
