Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fiscal Analyst 3 Billing Specialist to join our team at South Puget Sound Community College. As a key member of our Business Office, you will be responsible for all billings of non-grant contracts and non-student billing for the college.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Running Start Team to gather data necessary for accurate billing and create monthly/quarterly invoices on Running Start programs to bill School Districts.
  • Collaborate with Student Services to bill for College in the High School fees (CiHS) from high schools participating in the program and create monthly/quarterly invoices.
  • Collaborate with various departments within the college to create invoices for programs such as Dental Office, Events & Management, and Financial Aid State Grants.
  • Assist with daily and monthly bank reconciliations and coordinate daily cash receipts with cash disbursements.
  • Perform complex analyses including a synopsis of ongoing programs and multi-sub accounts for proper accounting of revenue received.
  • Assist with training and development of fiscal-related professional staff regarding financial methods and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, auditing, or budgeting, or equivalent experience.
  • Two to three years of relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree in a financial related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of computers and software applications, especially MS Office - Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with accounts receivable/payable and general ledger accounts.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy of information.
