Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the coordination and delivery of medical care across the facility.
  • Advise facility leadership on matters affecting the health and welfare of residents.
  • Review, assess, and recommend updates to medical and resident care policies.
  • Communicate medical policies, procedures, and regulations to all medical staff.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance Committees to conduct monthly quality assessments.
  • Engage as an active member of key facility committees.
  • Develop strategies for ongoing employee health monitoring and coordinating care for work-related injuries.
  • Organize and lead in-service training programs for nursing and related staff.

Requirements:
  • Active and unrestricted VT License.
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Valid DEA license.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role in a long-term care facility.
