Job DescriptionWe are seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Nurses to join our team in providing care to our patients. As a Registered Nurse, you will develop and manage nursing care plans, instruct patients and their families in proper treatment, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
SalaryAs a State employee, you will be offered a competitive salary, estimated to be around $75,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This includes an 80% state-paid medical premium and dental plan for employees and their families, as well as a generous leave plan, state-paid family and medical leave insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Possession of (or eligible for) licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Vermont or eligibility to practice in the state via a multi-state license.
- College senior in the final semester of an accredited school of nursing program, with graduation prior to hire and continued employment contingent on passing the Nursing Licensure Exam (NCLEX).

Duties will primarily be performed in a clinical setting, with potential travel off-site. Exposure to communicable diseases, blood-borne pathogens, and potentially physically and verbally violent patient populations may occur. Overtime work is required to maintain minimum staffing levels and for unannounced regulatory inspections.
