**Job Overview**

Southwestern Vermont Health Care is seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in our Perioperative department.

**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $85,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care and services to SVMC Perioperative patients
  • Administer nursing care according to established protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet unique patient needs

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Prior clinical nursing experience required
  • Vermont State Registered Nursing license by date of employment required
  • Health Care Provider BLS certification within 90 days of hire
