Job Summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a seasoned Medical Director to oversee the delivery of medical care at a long-term care facility in Bennington County. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a valid VT license, and board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and deliver medical care across the facility
  • Advise facility leadership on matters affecting resident health and welfare
  • Review and recommend updates to medical policies and procedures
  • Communicate medical policies and regulations to staff
  • Participate in Quality Assurance Committees
  • Develop strategies for employee health monitoring and work-related injuries
  • Organize in-service training programs for nursing staff

Requirements:
  • Active and unrestricted VT License
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Valid DEA license
  • Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience
  • At least 2 years in a leadership role in a long-term care facility

Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $200,000 - $300,000, commensurate with experience.
