Job Opportunity at Southwestern Vermont Health Care

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team and provide exceptional patient care in a variety of settings, including the Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Department, Women's and Children's, and Intensive Care Unit.

This per diem position offers flexible scheduling with various shifts available. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse with Southwestern Vermont Health Care, you will be responsible for delivering individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients. You will assess patients' needs, develop and implement personalized care plans, and evaluate their progress. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Prior nursing experience is highly desirable.
  • The ability to obtain a valid Vermont State Registered Nurse License by the date of employment is essential.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).


Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $90,000, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities.
