Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our national sales team as a Strategic Account Executive. This role will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth through the sale of arc-rated flame resistant (FR) clothing and managed apparel programs.
This is a fully remote opportunity with occasional travel required for onsite meetings with customers and industry events. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of consultative selling experience, preferably in a technical product environment, and a strong track record of meeting or exceeding annual performance sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pursue and sell FR clothing and managed apparel programs within designated territories, including daily prospecting activity and collaboration with key brand representatives.
- Maintain high-level product knowledge to effectively demonstrate features and benefits of all products in presentations and RFPs.
- Meet with prospects to provide presentations and demonstrations on our products and services.
- Follow Tyndale's Strategic Selling Process (SSP) on large opportunities and work closely with Sales Director and/or Vice President of Sales to plan sales strategy.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients and drive repeat business through excellent customer service and support.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities to meet or exceed annual sales targets.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive base salary of $100,000 per year, plus lucrative sales incentive plans, comprehensive medical and dental insurance, paid parental leave, mental health support, and generous PTO.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of consultative selling experience in a technical product environment.
- Strong hunting skills with a strategic selling approach to win new business.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to travel nationally 50% or as needed; must maintain a current valid driver's license.
- Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Office, and prior experience using CRM software preferred.
