Business Development Representative

At Dunn-Edwards, we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving growth and developing strong partnerships with our customers.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing a territory of customers and prospects, partnering with contractors to sell paint products, sundries, and equipment. You will work closely with customers to be a valued supplier and business partner, aiding them in growing and developing their business. Your primary focus will be on House Accounts and OSR accounts that are purchasing little to no product.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a list of customers identified throughout the region, reintroducing them to Dunn-Edwards if they have stopped purchasing, drawing them into store locations to purchase materials and participate in training events, and growing the overall sales contribution of this aggregate list of customers.
- Coordinate with local OSRs to enhance service, communication, and assist in growing the business.
- Closed communication between the OSR and BDR will be critical.
We are looking for a confident, assertive, and motivated individual who is flexible and excited by a fast-paced, diverse work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to read, analyze, and interpret professional publications, and produce reports effectively. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, and 2 or more years of experience dealing directly with customers in a sales and service environment is required.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position is $86,230 per year, based on industry standards and location.
