Water Resources Project Manager

At Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc., we're seeking a skilled Water Resources Project Manager to collaborate with our expert team on cutting-edge projects in stormwater management, hydrology, and hydraulics analysis. As a key member of our Water Resources team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions that drive sustainable development in water resources, ecological restoration, transportation, and environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead tasks under the supervision of the project manager on multi-disciplinary projects with hydrologic, hydraulic, stormwater design, or water quality focus.
  • Develop project proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
  • Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues.
  • Mentor junior staff in both technical and professional aspects.
  • Responsible for project task management, including task financial performance.

Requirements:

  • BS in Civil/Environmental/Water Resources engineering or related discipline.
  • ~3+ years of professional water resources engineering and analysis experience.
  • ~Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and stormwater policy and permitting preferred.
  • Proficiency with relevant software, including AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HydroCAD, StormCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
