Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Resident Engineer to join our Water practice in the Boston area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the technical supervision of construction projects, including large water and wastewater pump stations, treatment plants, and force main projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on long-term conveyance programs and contribute to the development of sustainable solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical supervision of construction projects, including design review, construction administration, and quality management.
  • Supervision of Stantec staff, including development of management plans, tracking career progress, mentoring, and approving timesheets and training/development requests.
  • Management of inspection staff and the delivery of daily inspector reports in accordance with clients' requirements.
  • Liaison to design staff to respond to Contractors' RFI's and review of shop drawings.
  • Primary point of contact on assigned construction contracts, with primary responsibility for construction contract administration and quality management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience on projects showing increasing responsibility.
  • Minimum of five (5) years in a construction management role of water and wastewater related projects.
  • CCM is preferred.
