Job Summary: As a Loan Administration Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day customer payment processing activities. You will work closely with the Payment Processing and Accounting Operations teams and be responsible for general functions, including posting customer payments and receivables, resolving payment research requests, reviewing cash activity, and administrative support assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in completing the daily workload of posting customer loan payments
- Research customer payments using online portals
- Analyze historical customer account information, process payment modifications, and re-postings
- Track and reconcile cash postings daily
- Maintain electronic records and files that support work performed, results, and outcomes
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant customer service and/or administrative experience required, automotive finance field preferred
- Strong numerical reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work on a team and focus on results, exhibit adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Time-management skills required to efficiently complete assignments
- Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of the internet and standard business applications; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as requested; high proficiency in Excel preferred
