Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Ogletree Deakins. This role will provide critical support to our attorneys and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide secretarial support to offices, including preparing documents, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Communicate effectively with Office Administrators and other staff members to ensure seamless transitions and efficient workflow.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to assist offices and provide training on firm systems and procedures.
  • Manage new matter openings, including submitting information for conflict checks and preparing documents.
  • Assist with firm-wide projects and initiatives, including beta testing and providing feedback on new processes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a litigation practice assistant or legal secretary.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and local rules, as well as California processes and filings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Superior organizational skills, including filing, calendaring, and proofreading.
