Job Title: Sales Manager

Interlake Mecalux is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead our Midwest sales team in Chicago, IL.

This role involves directing the development of sales strategies and managing a team of Account Executives to achieve sales objectives in the Midwest region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the daily activities of 5 Account Executives in a $70 million territory
  • Monitoring leads, quotes, orders, and sales volume growth for each Account Executive
  • Approving travel bookings and business expenses of Account Executives
  • Training new Account Executives and identifying knowledge gaps
  • Communicating updates from Headquarters to Account Executives
  • Strengthening customer relationships by accompanying Account Executives on customer calls
  • Providing reports to Headquarters' Management Team

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business
  • At least three years of experience in the Material Handling Industry
  • Strong technical aptitude and leadership skills
  • Excellent driving record and auto liability coverage
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
