Job Title: Automation Director

Chobani is seeking an experienced Automation Director to lead our global automation efforts. As a key member of our Engineering organization, you will provide leadership to enhance organizational capability through training, mentorship, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement information and operations technology systems, including network infrastructure, controls, and automation systems.
  • Provide leadership in knowledge transfer and implementation of approved standards and practices for IT/OT systems.
  • Lead project management support, including requirements gathering, project development, vendor management, and proposal development.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Operations, Safety, and Corporate management to facilitate and support manufacturing process and control systems.
  • Manage staff in all areas, including supervision, performance management, career development, and personnel-related functions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant fields, with 10+ years of experience in a leadership role overseeing automation and controls engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of PLC system design and programming, specifically focused on Rockwell PLC.
  • Experience with Ignition Software and other automation tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to create and present reports using Wonderware Historian.
  • Understanding of Energy management systems and Ethernet networks.
  • Ability to connect to and interact with OPC interfaces and history of connecting to many different networks within an OT environment.
