The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the upper layers of the OSI model, driving strategic innovation throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be a full-stack software architect with expertise in hyperscalers, hybrid cloud environments, and SaaS solutions. They will be responsible for establishing a rationalized and scalable architecture that ensures secure, high-performance, reliable, and efficient integrations. The director should be a motivational leader who fosters trust, executes strategic initiatives, and cultivates a positive organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Proven track record of maintaining a strong safety record.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 10 years of relevant technical experience, including systems analysis, design, and implementation.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
- Experience in implementing complex, large-scale distributed applications.
- Familiarity with micro-service-based technologies, including containerization and API models.
- Hands-on experience with various database and storage technologies.
- Knowledge of web standards such as SOAP, REST, GraphQL, JSON, OData, AMQP, JMS, and MQTT.
- Ability to recommend end-state architecture for both event-driven and batch-driven data integrations.
- Understanding of batch integrations, particularly ETL/ELT processes.
- Capacity to unify diverse technical perspectives towards a common solution.
- Architect-level capability to lead teams and present to leadership.
- Recent experience in leading projects with modern architectural patterns.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
- Demonstrable experience with change management processes.

- Experience managing mid to large-scale 24x7 production systems.
