Job Summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in the commercial roofing industry. As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our client's business by developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and team members to understand project objectives and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Strengthen client relationships and support business development efforts through regular communication and relationship-building activities.
  • Manage and expand the client portfolio by engaging with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and respond to invitations to bid and requests for proposals (RFPs) to ensure accurate and timely responses.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of contract scopes and pricing, analyzing project specifications and drawings to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Utilize industry-leading estimating software to create precise take-offs and estimates, and participate in financial analysis to ensure accurate tracking of performance metrics.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED; a degree in Business or Construction Management is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing sales, with a strong understanding of project management and estimating for large, complex commercial roofing projects.
  • Proficiency in project management and estimating software, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create forecasts based on financial data.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, and a proven ability to expand market share and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
