Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warranty Service Representative to join our Service Department team at Bruckner's Truck Sales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Service Department, including preparing shop repair orders, managing warranty claims, and assisting with the care and timely shipping of failed warranty parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process shop repair orders, ensuring all repairs are listed, parts and labor are charged correctly, and warranty claims are submitted for approval.
  • Manage warranty claims, including preparing and submitting claims to the Warranty Manager, and maintaining accurate records of all warranty-related documents.
  • Assist the Warranty Manager with corrections and re-filing of warranty claims, and ensure all parts are returned to the proper locations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering warranty-related questions for the Service, Parts, and Sales departments.
  • Assist the Service Department with answering the telephone during peak periods and monitoring open repair order reports to ensure proper document flow.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional courses or certifications a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in parts or service, with 2 years experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to read computer-generated reports and operate office equipment.
