Key Responsibilities

Core Duties:

  • Guide multidisciplinary teams in the creation of state-of-the-art thermal management technologies for aerospace applications.
  • Lead the innovation, design, and evaluation of sophisticated thermal management systems for both existing and upcoming aerospace products.
  • Apply expertise in modeling, simulation, and experimental validation to develop new thermal management solutions.
  • Offer technical mentorship and guidance to team members through effective coaching.
  • Establish and maintain technology roadmaps while overseeing funded initiatives.
  • Contribute to proposal development for both internal and external projects.
  • Foster and expand collaborative networks across academia, government, and industry sectors.
  • Secure patents for innovations and disseminate findings through conferences and publications.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of systems engineering principles, particularly in requirements management.
  • Demonstrated experience in addressing intricate thermal management issues within aerospace or energy systems.
  • Proven track record of leading teams in the development of engineering systems.
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative team environment.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance.
  • Willingness to work in a designated office location and meet legal age requirements.
