Vitality Bowls Shift Leader Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Vitality Bowls. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading the team on daily operations, ensuring food is prepared accurately and in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for displaying a thorough knowledge of our recipes and communicating effectively with other staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the team on daily operations, ensuring food is prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Display a thorough knowledge of our recipes and communicate effectively with other staff.
  • Have excellent customer service skills when processing orders at the point-of-sale, taking phone orders, and inputting third-party delivery orders.
  • Assist dissatisfied customers and ensure all customers are leaving happy.
  • Communicate with manager/owner on inventory status and employee performance.
Requirements:
  • Become food certified.
  • Must be able to handle a basic computer, POS system; handling cash and credit cards.
  • Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly, and have a sense of urgency.
  • Leadership abilities.
  • Must be able to lead team on shift and make sure team is taking breaks and store policies during shift.
