Auto-Chlor is seeking a dedicated Payroll Manager to oversee our payroll operations team. We are in search of a leader who will enhance our People First culture. This role requires full-time in-office presence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and process all bi-weekly, multi-state payroll, ensuring compliance with pay regulations for a mix of 40% exempt and 60% non-exempt employees, including bonuses and commissions.
- Guarantee the accuracy and punctuality of payroll, review off-cycle payrolls, and ensure timely check processing and payroll report accuracy.
- Address escalated inquiries from the field and resolve issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with the HR department on new hire processes, terminations, and leaves of absence.
- Provide bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reporting to the Controller and HR.
- Ensure payroll tax payments comply with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Maintain payroll compliance by staying informed on new legislation and training departments on changes.
- Develop internal controls to ensure quality and efficiency in all payroll functions and regulatory compliance, communicating procedures with company leadership and field offices.
- Lead the payroll team through training, mentoring, performance feedback, and performance reviews.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience supervising at least three direct reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
- Full-time in-office work is required.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now and E-time in a multi-state environment is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of multi-state wage laws and their application.
- Proven ability to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment while providing excellent customer service to internal employees.
- Strong communication and discernment skills.
