Job Title: Technical Sales Representative

Join Chemetall, a leading supplier of applied surface treatments worldwide, as a Technical Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for selling Chemetall surface treatment chemicals to established and prospective customers in an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored sales presentations and proposals.
  • Manage territory profitability by reviewing compensation margins, providing margin improvement through product selection and pricing, and ensuring technology provided strengthens the company's competitive position.
  • Plan and execute a weekly itinerary of calls to allocate time effectively and ensure proper territory coverage by industry, geography, and account potential.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or Business.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relatable experience in B2B/outside industrial sales, preferably in specialty chemical sales (metalworking or surface treatment).
  • Ability to make sales presentations, follow up with written proposals, and manage customer contracts.
  • Well-organized with sales planning and territory management skills.
  • Customer acquisition mentality for new customer acquisition and continuous up-/cross-selling opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing, as a company car will be provided.
