Job Overview
We are looking for committed Property & Casualty (P&C) licensed agents to fill future roles in insurance customer service. The work schedule may vary and could include weekends.
Training Opportunities
New training sessions commence regularly, providing you with the knowledge and skills necessary for success.
As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will operate within established guidelines to deliver exceptional customer service, sales, and retention for USAA's Property & Casualty personal line products. You will engage with our members through various communication channels to offer advice and ensure their financial security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and manage existing and potential risks associated with business activities.
- Ensure effective identification, measurement, monitoring, and control of risks.
- Adhere to written risk and compliance policies and procedures.
- Facilitate member interactions by responding to inbound communications.
- Utilize your knowledge of personal lines insurance to assist members with quotes, policy binding, billing, and coverage inquiries.
- Understand member needs and provide accurate advice and solutions.
- Utilize available tools and resources to support members effectively.
- Navigate multiple systems while maintaining engaging interactions with members.
- Maintain required Property & Casualty (P&C) license and state registrations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- One year of customer service experience in insurance or financial services.
- Ability to acquire Property & Casualty (P&C) license within the designated timeframe.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and navigate multiple applications.
- Completion of a job-related assessment may be necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active personal lines or property and casualty license in your state of residence.
- Experience in a fast-paced contact center environment.
- Previous experience communicating with customers via phone, email, or in person.
