Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for providing case management services to clients, including resource provision, crisis intervention, and coordination of community-based resources.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of core program services, crisis intervention skills, and knowledge of community-based resources and insurance benefits.
This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, record-keeping abilities, and the capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide clients with resources and support to help them overcome challenges related to chemical dependency and behavioral health issues.
- Assist clients in obtaining benefits, transportation, financial assistance, housing support, food, clothing, medical services, educational and vocational services.
- Crisis intervention and stabilization of clients experiencing crisis situations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum two years of work experience in counseling or social work setting preferred.
- Registered with the Ohio Credentialing Board as a candidate for CDCA certification.
- Possess valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Competitive salary range: $32,800 - $40,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
