Job Summary

The Patient Support Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams. This position requires a high level of customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Coordination: Establish and maintain regular communication with physicians, medical office staff, and internal teams to support patient hub services.
  • Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve patient issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Data Entry and Management: Accurately and efficiently enter data into multiple systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Access to Support Services: Coordinate access to support services, including reimbursement counseling, patient access, and copay assistance programs.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special department or related projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, hospital administration, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, insurance verification, or related area required.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of the US healthcare/insurance system, and ability to work efficiently in Microsoft Office.
  • Qualities: Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere, maintain professional phone demeanor, and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
