Construction Materials Specialist

Terracon is a 100 percent employee-owned multidiscipline consulting firm that offers a wide range of services in environmental, facilities, geotechnical, and materials. As a Construction Materials Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates. Your role will involve performing sampling or testing as directed, providing assistance to other field and/or laboratory personnel, transporting equipment, specimens or documents, and assisting technicians or professional staff on routine tasks.
About the Role:
- You will work in a team environment with other technicians and professionals to complete tasks and projects.
- You will be involved in various aspects of construction materials testing, including sampling, testing, and analysis.
- You will have opportunities to learn and develop new skills in laboratory techniques and software applications.
Requirements:
- You must have a high school diploma and a BS degree in progress in a science or related field (environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, geology).
- The ideal candidate will have less than one year remaining to complete their BS degree.
