Job Title: Materials Testing Technician

An estimated salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year.

As a Materials Testing Technician at Terracon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of construction materials. Your responsibilities will include conducting field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates, providing assistance to other field and/or laboratory personnel, and assisting technicians or professional staff on routine tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing sampling or testing as directed.
  • Providing assistance to other field and/or laboratory personnel.
  • Transferring equipment, specimens or documents to field personnel, laboratory, clients or other offices, and providing physical assistance in equipment set-up.
  • Cleaning equipment, vehicles and work areas.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma and BS degree in progress in a science or related field (environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, geology).
  • Less than one year remaining to complete BS degree.
