B&H Photo is seeking an **Applications Integration Manager** who possesses both strategic insight and practical expertise in implementing integration technologies such as Mulesoft. The ideal candidate will merge analytical prowess with technical integration capabilities and project management principles to spearhead data integration projects. This role involves selecting the most suitable integration methodologies and applying robust technical management and development skills throughout the project lifecycle to deliver high-quality solutions.

The **Application Integration Manager** will oversee the design, development, and management of application interfaces, data flows, and APIs, leveraging both vendor-provided services and internal API management tools. This includes transitioning legacy data feeds to cloud-based integration technologies, ensuring seamless data flow between on-premise and hosted applications.

**Key Responsibilities**

Collaborate with various application leads to assess their current environments and existing integrations, documenting all external and internal integrations. Develop a comprehensive plan for implementing these integrations within a centralized environment and recommend appropriate technologies for managing all integrations effectively. Define the integration and data flow architecture while evaluating vendor web services and API capabilities. Identify gaps in available integration services and devise remediation strategies to ensure stability as underlying platform technologies evolve. Deliver necessary systems integration solutions for new business solution replacements and platform transitions, ensuring continuity and security of systems, data, and business services throughout the conversion process. Assess future API management tools, evaluating their capabilities against requirements and conducting validation activities as necessary. Contribute to the development and management of an external-facing API layer for business partner integration, including mobile applications and third-party services. Work closely with support teams to address production incidents and proactively identify opportunities for preventative measures to avoid recurrence. Cultivate strong team dynamics and a culture focused on enhancing application integration techniques.

**Qualifications**

Experience in a centralized integration team in both leadership and hands-on roles. Proven track record in transformation initiatives utilizing integration technologies to successfully connect systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, E-Commerce). At least 7 years of experience in delivering high-performing application solutions that meet defined scope, cost, and timeline parameters. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development using various system integration methods and technologies, including web services, SOAP, JSON, REST, APIs, XML, automated testing frameworks, and orchestration tools. Expertise in evaluating integration approaches and understanding their strengths and limitations in relation to business objectives. Proficient in developing integrations across multiple technologies and programming languages such as Microsoft .NET, Java, JavaScript, PHP, and Python, along with scripting in Linux and Windows. Experience with relational databases and SQL to support legacy integration techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a commitment to customer service excellence. Highly motivated individual with exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to balance competing priorities, multitask between project development and customer support, and adapt to evolving business and technical requirements. Experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment that values positive relationships among colleagues. Familiarity with leading customer relationship management platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics. Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Web API. Knowledge of marketing or fundraising business processes. Familiarity with WSO2 or MuleSoft. Experience with Agile methodologies as well as traditional structured approaches. Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN or Git. Experience with ServiceNow. Background in a higher education setting.
