Job Overview

Position: Application Integration Engineer

Role Summary:

The Application Integration Engineer plays a vital role within the End User Computing team, part of the Enterprise Platforms division. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at engineering and supporting advanced application and desktop environments.

Key Technical Competencies:

  1. Extensive expertise in legal software applications, including iManage Work10 and the Litera Desktop suite, which features tools like Litera Compare, Innova, and Contract Companion; proficiency in IntApp Time and Adobe Acrobat DC.
  2. In-depth experience with collaboration tools in virtual settings, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx, and Jabber.
  3. Proficient in using Ivanti User Workspace Manager or similar profile management solutions.
  4. Solid understanding of business applications and operating systems, particularly Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 2016+, and Google Chrome.
  5. Development skills in Microsoft Office 2016+, including experience with add-ins and toolbar customization.
  6. Primary responsibilities include third-level application integration and support, focusing on profiling, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise applications across various end-user environments.
  7. Strong knowledge of configuring and managing group policies and Active Directory.
  8. Experience with SCCM 2016+, InTune, and JAMF.
  9. Capability in application packaging in multiple formats such as EXE, MSI, and MSIX.
  10. Proficient scripting skills in PowerShell.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Design, test, and package software applications, collaborating with team leads to ensure successful integration and testing across all environments, while maintaining detailed documentation.
  2. Implement procedures related to technical change management, patch management, and system monitoring.
  3. Conduct advanced troubleshooting of complex virtual and physical systems, applications, and patches.
  4. Analyze user feedback to resolve escalated incidents and engage in problem management initiatives.
  5. Collaborate with IT department members to address intricate user technical issues related to desktop computing and applications, working alongside IT Support, Infrastructure, Security, and other relevant teams.
  6. Engage with vendors to establish and uphold performance standards and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  7. Provide cross-training to other IT personnel regarding technology use and maintenance, while preparing technical documentation.

Qualifications:

  1. A four-year degree is preferred.
  2. A minimum of five years of relevant experience is required.
  3. Relevant Microsoft certifications are highly valued.
