About the Role
Client Solutions Managers are pivotal in forging partnerships with Ramp clients, serving as a bridge between customers and our internal technical teams.

You will collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management teams to identify, prioritize, and develop financial solutions for existing clients, ensuring Ramp continues to evolve alongside their requirements.

As the technical and financial subject matter expert for our clients, you will design solutions that meet their needs through Ramp and partner integrations.

Working closely with Post-Sales teams, you will influence the roadmaps of Product, Design, and Engineering teams to enhance Ramp's offerings, delivering greater value to our clients.

You will define the financial and technical success criteria for clients from onboarding through activation and expansion.

Representing Product, Design, and Engineering externally, you will operate with a profound understanding of Ramp's technical capabilities.

This role demands technical expertise to comprehend and educate on robust accounting features, integrating them across all customer touchpoints.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management teams to effectively convey Ramp's technical accounting features and advantages to clients through tailored product demonstrations.
  • Focus areas include NetSuite, MS Dynamics, Sage Intaact, and other ERP integrations.
  • Assist clients in resolving technical challenges and propose effective product implementations with a comprehensive understanding of integration and configuration options.
  • Through customer discovery, assess client requirements for expanding their Ramp partnership, determining Ramp's fit through use cases, cost-benefit/ROI analysis, and technical competencies.
  • Work directly with onboarding specialists to support complex technical and accounting implementations of Ramp.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across our HRIS and Accounting integration partners, collaborating with Sales, Product, and partners to advocate for integration development aligned with client needs.
  • Support technical documentation and maintain our internal knowledge base for customer use cases and best practices.
  • Partner closely with the product team to ensure client feedback and pain points are acknowledged, reviewed, and prioritized as necessary.
What You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance, or accounting.
  • A minimum of 4 years in Technical Account Management, Implementation, Solutions Consulting, or delivering business SaaS solutions and utilizing APIs, preferably within the financial sector.
  • A deep understanding of accounting systems, accounting/controllership needs, and finance/accounting workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS and/or ERP solutions.
  • Excellent engineering, system design, and technical specification writing skills.
  • Ability to anticipate client needs and position product solutions accordingly.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational, project management, and time management abilities.
  • A bias towards action, adaptability, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment typical of a high-growth startup.
Compensation
The annual salary/OTE range for this role is $165,750-$195,000 (75/25 split) + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).Benefits (for U.S.-based full-time employees)
