Patient Care Assistant/Unit Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Assistant/Unit Coordinator to join our team at UofL Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support services in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transcribe and compute physician orders accurately
• Assemble patient medical records and maintain proper order
• Handle desk communications and route messages to appropriate personnel
• Collect and document patient data, including vital signs and intake/output
• Perform and document point-of-care testing and patient mobility needs
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by the American Heart Association
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
