About the Role:

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patient care, responsible for administrative duties and patient care. You will perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments, including computations. You will typically work on semi-routine assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discuss symptoms and gather information for electronic medical records
  • Take vital signs, give injections, perform diagnostic tests, collect specimens, draw blood, sterilize and clean equipment, and maintain examination rooms
  • Collaborate closely with Physicians and Nurses
  • Deliver direct patient care dependent on active certification

Requirements:

  • 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in direct patient care
  • Current CPR certification
  • Less than 2 years of leadership experience
  • Must be a team player with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced/high-volume environment
  • Experience with MS Outlook
  • Basic computer knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bilingual
  • Hands-on professional Phlebotomy experience
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records
  • Experience with HEDIS

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8AM-5PM
