About the Role

The SCM Program Specialist will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Supply Chain Management team at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing Supply Chain Management functions at a professional level, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service at the Savannah River Site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute work in a manner that drives quality, speed, and efficiency, while reducing costs.
  • Strive to model excellence, deliver results, energize and recognize teams, build relationships, and shape the future.
  • Actively participate in our Tiered Operating Performance System (TOPS) process.
  • Identify and assist in the implementation of continuous improvements.
  • Perform cross-functional program-level assignments that facilitate the effective operations of SCM.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a working knowledge of the FAR and federal contracting principles. You should also have strong subcontract administration skills, as well as the ability to learn negotiating skills and perform market research/supplier sourcing. Additionally, you will need to be able to evaluate acquisitions/scopes to structure appropriate subcontract types/basis of award.
