Interface Management Specialist

Fluor is seeking a highly skilled Interface Management Specialist to join our team. As an Interface Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless interactions between different components of a project.
This role involves identifying and defining points of interaction between various project scopes, including different systems, teams, or stakeholders. You will lead and guide the development and implementation of the execution strategy and oversee development and enforcement of engineering budget, schedule, and quality.
This position requires strong leadership skills, customer focus, business acumen, influence, strategic agility, decision making, personal accountability, ownership, and follow-through. You will also be responsible for promoting Fluor's competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and define points of interaction between different components of a project
- Lead and guide the development and implementation of the execution strategy
- Oversee development and enforcement of engineering budget, schedule, and quality
- Promote Fluor's competitiveness within the global marketplace
Requirements:
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and sixteen (16) years of work-related experience
- Recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Job-related skills required - Strong leadership skills, customer focus, business acumen, influence, strategic agility, decision making, personal accountability, ownership, and follow-through
Preferred Qualifications:
- Jobsite experience and understanding of construction safety program
- Requires three (3) years of experience as Project Engineer or Specialist, or a project role of significant capacity such as Project Controls Lead, Contracts Lead, etc.
- Demonstration of successful performance as an assistant Project Manager or senior project engineer on small to medium-sized projects
