Assembly Production Supervisor

SmartTalent Staffing is seeking an experienced Assembly Lead Supervisor to oversee the operation of a section within the Manufacturing function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production assembly and leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient operation of the manufacturing area, meeting production targets and quality standards.
- Provide leadership and line management to the team, coordinating workloads and providing support to ensure delivery.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring it is within calibration date and all systems are functioning correctly.
- Ensure all records are completed appropriately and non-conforming material is clearly identified and segregated.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and non-conformities, and implement corrective actions.
- Identify business improvement opportunities and implement changes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience as Lead Production.
- Commitment to work towards professional accreditation with an industry-related body.
- Experience of leading small group activities to drive improvement ideas.
- Good PC skills and experience of packages.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and recognized QC tools.
