Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Our company is a global technology leader in the design, manufacture, and customer support of high-quality light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. We also design and manufacture advanced diesel engines and provide customized financial services, information technology, and truck parts related to our principal business.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the manufacturing engineering team in supporting new product launches, capital requests, and implementation, facility enhancements, and improvements to truck assembly safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Manage daily activities of the manufacturing engineering team, including the development of equipment specifications and requirements for the plant.
- Develop and drive a strong culture of high performance, excellent quality, and teamwork.
- Review major product changes and provide input to Design Engineering on manufacturability and develop manufacturing processes.
- Continuously improve the production process through improvements to equipment, tools, procedures, or other factors impacting safety, quality, and production capability.
- Responsible for installation and rearrangement of plant and production equipment ensuring projects are completed on-time and within budget.
- Perform other projects and assignments as required.
- Ensure compliance with Corporate and Division policies, procedures, and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required (Mechanical or Manufacturing/Industrial preferred).
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCad, ProE, etc.
