Job Overview
This role oversees the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and products within our facilities. You will work closely with production teams to ensure timely delivery of necessary items, maintaining a seamless workflow and meeting our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and requisitions to determine items for movement, gathering, or distribution.
- Fills and/or creates requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly lines.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, and color or product code; marking materials with identifying information and storing perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing stations or shipping departments.
- Ensure parts are pulled, kitted, and ready in advance of actual production needs.
- Maintain inventory records; record amounts of materials or items received or distributed; keeping database systems in real-time.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce.
- Ability to comprehend and follow specifications and procedures.
- Proficient mathematical skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Familiarity with cycle counting programs.
- Organizing and coordinating skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
Working Conditions
- While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.
- Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature-controlled.
- Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
- Exposure to hazardous equipment.
- Exposure to contaminants.
- Shared workspaces with other employees.
- Requires handling objects of up to 50 lbs.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime).

Pay Information
The estimated salary range for this role is $20.30 - $26.68 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Please note that the base salary information shown above is a general guideline only, and actual salaries may vary based on individual circumstances.
