Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team in WASHINGTON, MO. As a key member of our refrigeration and comfort cooling business unit, you will design, develop, and test new electronics products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and test electronic circuits for new products and revisions of existing products
  • Manage new products through the development process and resolve field & production issues with existing products
  • Supervise board layouts and manage Bill of Materials
  • Find and approve alternate components
  • Manage and support product qualification testing
  • Create detailed documentation for new products
  • Develop test fixturing and procedures for manufacturing testing
  • Manage product compliance testing at external laboratories and analyze results
  • Provide general Engineering support to other departments

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong experience with electronics lab test equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, multimeter, etc.)
  • Proven track record of electronics design & development
  • Ability to solder & rework SMD components under a microscope
  • Basic knowledge of embedded programming in C / C+
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Quick learner and able to balance multiple tasks
  • Strong experience with PCB CAD tools (Candence Allegro & OrCAD preferred)
  • Experience with UL 60730 family of standards a plus
  • Understanding of principles of refrigeration a plus

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
