Electromechanical Design Engineer for Power Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Design Engineer to join our team in North America. As an Electromechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of power systems, including circuit breakers and other electrical distribution products.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain and own the MCCB and ACB offer within NAM – PowerPacT and MasterPact Circuit Breakers.
  • Create verification and validation plans to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Apply methodical problem-solving techniques and tools to solve problems.
  • Validate FAIRs and Pilot Run reviews.
  • Support Global Supply Change Manufacturing Plants in North America.

You will also be responsible for creating and validating bills of materials and CAD drawings, executing assigned product designs changes, and leading internal and external customer returns analysis.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in electromechanical mass production industries.
  • AGILE Methodology knowledge and experience is a plus.
  • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge.
  • Circuit Breaker design experience is highly recommended.
