Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Security Systems Specialist to join our team in Washington, D.C. as a full-time Security Systems Administrator/Technician.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in electronic security systems (ESS) and experience working directly with customers to configure and maintain access control systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage physical security system support to meet service level agreements.
  • Analyze performance of physical security systems and recommend improvements.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues for physical security systems and networks.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, manufacturers, vendors, and technical specialists.
  • Train users and support personnel on system functionality and procedures.
  • Perform desktop hardware setup, operating system installation, and imaging software loading.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers on security design and integration.
  • Provide technical support to field technicians and operational staff.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in installing and maintaining access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and video management systems.
  • 3+ years of experience with access control system programming and administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience creating technical documentation, including design documents and reference libraries.
  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects independently.
  • Active Top Secret clearance required.
