Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineering Manager to join our team at Schneider Electric. This is a key role that will lead the design and development of electrical distribution products.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and own MCCB and ACB offerings within NAM, including PowerPacT and MasterPact Circuit Breakers.
  • Create verification and validation plans and apply methodical problem-solving techniques to solve problems.
  • Responsible for the validation of FAIRs and Pilot Run reviews, as well as auditing manufacturing facilities to ensure product compliance to regulatory standards.
  • Creatures bills of materials and CAD drawings in accordance with technical specifications and customer expectations.
  • Execute assigned product designs changes using dedicated tools.
  • Responsible for engineering analysis activities, including Thermal, Electromagnetic, Dynamical and Structural, to ensure adequate performance and quality of products.
Requirements
  • BS or equivalent expertise in electromechanical design in electrical distribution products.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in electromechanical mass production industries.
  • AGILE Methodology knowledge and experience is a plus.
  • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and Basic 3D CAD Modeling skills are required.
  • Familiarity with metal stamping, thermoset and thermoplastic molding processes, as well as Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly techniques.
