Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and concerns regarding project status, orders, and other related issues.
- Order Management: Maintain customer files, process authorized orders, and receive and process customer requests.
- Communication: Work closely with production staff, external vendors, and sales team to communicate customer information and resolve issues.
- Inventory Management: Manage and maintain assigned customer inventories, including reviewing stocks and placing orders and shipments.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve customer concerns, working closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items and investigate short-paid invoices.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: 1+ year(s) of experience in an industrial customer service role, with 3+ years of experience in an industrial customer service role working with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
- Skills: Proficient computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and Outlook. System proficiency using Great Plains ERP or similar application required.
- Personal Qualities: Professional demeanor, telephone etiquette, excellent verbal and written communication skills, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Health benefits, including telehealth medical services, and opportunity for advancement.
- Work Schedule: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with no rotating shifts or weekends.
