Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at Linde, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between our organization and payers. Your primary responsibility will be to contact payers to obtain medical claims status, follow up on denials, and process partial payments. You will also be responsible for obtaining payer requirements for timely adjudication of claims, filing claims with attached documentation, and pursuing medical coverage/guideline changes/updates. Additionally, you will process incoming and outgoing correspondence, verify and adjust Accounts Receivable (A/R) according to correspondence received from insurance companies, and facilitate interoffice communication on error and denial trends. You will also initiate the review/appeals process on disputed claims, research credit balances, and initiate refunds as required. Your excellent communication skills and ability to multitask will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact payers to obtain medical claims status and follow up on denials

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and past performance that shows solid evidence of insurance qualifications and guidelines. You will also need to have knowledge of telephone etiquette and adequate oral and written communication skills, as well as effective multitasking skills. A positive and cooperative attitude in working and communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization is essential. Knowledge of the medical field is preferred.
