We are currently seeking a Project Manager / Claims Analyst. This role is crucial for overseeing claims management within a designated region.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will operate within the claims department, focusing on the analysis of delay claims against the State. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough reviews and complex schedule analyses using P6.

• Evaluating contractor claims in line with contractual agreements to ascertain their validity.

• Managing and tracking delay claims on a daily basis.

• Auditing claim costs, including payrolls and invoices, and negotiating settlements with contractors.

• Facilitating meetings with design and construction teams to discuss claims.

• Analyzing project history for forensic delay assessments, including reviewing schedules and correspondence.

• Reporting on critical and problematic projects to executive management regularly.



Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, or an associate's degree with two years of relevant experience, or four years of experience in a similar role.
A strong understanding of construction schedules, schedule analysis, and time impact analysis is essential.
Experience in contract management and project scheduling is required, while estimating experience is preferred but not mandatory.
